Rustler includes a powerful 8.4 volt 3000 mAh Traxxas Power Cell rechargeable NiMH battery pack to reach its 35+ mph top speed. Fast 4-amp charging is available virtually anywhere thanks to the included 45+ watt USB-C battery charger with iD® technology. Power adapter and cable sold separately. For maximum charge rate use Traxxas 2912 45-watt power adapter and 2916 100-watt power cable. The Traxxas iD system is the easiest and safest way to charge your Traxxas batteries. The charger automatically recognizes the iD battery and optimizes the charge settings as soon as you plug it in. There’s no guesswork involved, just fast, reliable charging every time.

Precision 2.4 GHz Control
Switch on the power and drive! That's all there is to it with the TQ™ 2.4 GHz radio system. There are no frequencies to manage, so the focus is on having fun. Race multiple vehicles side by side without interference. The TQ's advanced programming provides long-range control with smooth, glitch-free performance. The TQ's ergonomic design is comfortable for all day driving with an internal antenna that is impervious to damage.

Waterproof Receiver Box
Rustler's patented sealed receiver box gives you the freedom to drive where you want, when you want. The antenna and servo wires route neatly through a special water-tight seal. A blue O-ring seals the receiver box to protect the receiver from water. The receiver can be removed for service and aftermarket receivers can be installed without losing the sealing properties of the box.

3-channel Micro Receiver with Fail-Safe Security
The TQ 2.4 GHz micro receiver uses an integrated LINK button for fast and easy binding. A two-color LED indicates power-on and bind status for fool-proof control and convenience. In the event of signal loss, the receiver will automatically return the throttle to neutral and hold the last commanded steering position. The fail safe programming is conveniently built-in and does not need to be set or activated.

High-Torque Waterproof Steering Servo
High-Torque  Waterproof ServoA race truck needs a powerful steering servo for responsive performance, and Traxxas delivers with the 2056 high-torque servo. This waterproof steering servo uses O-ring seals to keep the fun going when things get wet. Waterproof for all-weather action, the 2056 provides 80 oz-in of steering muscle.

Extreme Heavy Duty Suspension Components
Rustler comes outfitted with factory-installed Extreme Heavy Duty suspension components for ultimate strength and durability. The rear axle carriers, C-hubs, and steering blocks are beefed up with more material and stronger construction.

Durable One-Piece Camber Links
Durable one-piece camber links are perfect for bashing because they maintain proper suspension geometry and never require adjustments. Captured rod ends provide unmatched durability and they won't pop off.

Alias® Tires and Wheels
Rustler rides on aggressive 2.8″ black and chrome RXT™ 6-spoke wheels. Alias step-pin rear tires and ribbed front tires keep Rustler firmly planted on extreme off-road terrain.

Included Optional Pinion Gear
Rustler reaches its blistering 35+ mph top speed on-road using the optional 28-tooth pinion gear (included) and 7-cell 8.4 V battery pack. Out of the box, the installed 16-tooth pinion gear is just right for all-around, on or off-road action.

Easy Access Battery Compartment
Rustler’s battery hold-down accommodates either 6 or 7-cell flat battery packs or 7-cell hump packs for maximum versatility. An optional battery expansion kit Part 3725X (sold separately) accommodates oversized batteries.

Clipless Body Mounting
Rustler's clipless body holds firm no matter how rough the action gets. Heavy duty latches grip the body tightly, but release in just seconds for fast battery swaps. This convenient hidden latching system replaces traditional body clips with reinforced panels to maintain body integrity and resist pull-through damage.

Clipless Body Latches
Rustler's innovative clipless body uses secure latches for quick and easy removal. No posts, no clips—just drop the body onto the chassis and snap it into place for a secure hold. When it’s time to change the battery, depress the tabs under the wheel wells and lift to access the chassis in just seconds.

Molded Body Reinforcements
Rustler’s clipless body latches are neatly integrated into molded body reinforcements that look great and protect the body. Unlike traditional posts and clips, Rustler’s body reinforcements spread impact forces over a wide area to minimize the risk of pull-through damage.

Torque-Control™ Slipper Clutch
The Torque-Control slipper clutch uses special semi-metallic friction pads and finned aluminum alloy pressure plates to dissipate heat and provide consistent traction control. The friction material remains stable across a wide temperature range to provide smooth, linear engagement you can count on, run after run. Spur gears remove and replace easily without altering the slipper adjustment.

Oil-Filled Ultra Shocks™
Rustler's oil-filled Ultra Shocks utilize X-ring technology for a perfect seal and silky-smooth performance. They are easy to customize with a wide range of high-performance oils, springs, and pistons available. Features include pressure bladders for air/oil separation and spring clips to change precisely the ride height and spring pre-load tension. If their performance ever fades, refresh them in minutes with our inexpensive rebuild kits.

Rustler's springs are race-tuned for more responsive handling and the long-lasting, white powder-coated finish sets Rustler apart from the pack.

Motor Mount with Cooling Channels
The sealed gearbox protects the transmission components from dirt and rocks. The molded motor plate includes finned cooling channels where the motor mounts to the motor plate. The cooling channels work in conjunction with the internal Titan 12T motor fan to pull air through the motor for superior cooling.

Brushless Ready Magnum 272™ Transmission
Rustler's Magnum 272 transmission features metal gears riding on ultra-smooth sealed ball bearings. Combined with the smooth 48-pitch gears, power transfers quietly to the durable telescoping U-joint driveshafts. The sealed gearbox protects the transmission components from dirt and rocks. Brushless-Ready Planetary Gear Differential
